decorate entryway table

I need advice on decorating this entryway table....

1. I want to replace the lamp I have currently as I feel it is too big. What do you guys think?

2. Should I add two lamps and rethink this from scratch?

3. anything else you can suggest... I wd appreciate pictures too

when suggesting ideas.

The lamp is too big for that console. If you want to keep that console there, then I would probably have just that vase that you have now with the branches and add the other two smaller glass jars next to it so you have a grouping of three..

If you could get another console, get something longer..there is enough space for a longer piece, especially that the mirror is pretty large as well. I will post below a few ideas that show similar size table and longer ones

The table is too small to support two lamps.

Look at buffet lamps

Truthfully the table is too small for the wall IMO Here's a table from Ashley Furniture that would work in the space with your existing mirror. They you could keep the lamp.

Hi johnatemp, Gosh, your room is lovely. You are way too hard on yourself! I love so many parts of it. Your chest with the two chairs flanking it is just gorgeous, with those incredible drapes. That chest is fab as well. Now that I see you have this arrangement on an opposite wall, I wouldn't duplicate it on your buffet wall. I also love your painting above the buffet; just thought it echoed the shape of the mirror over the couch, and I do think that artwork should be hung in a variety of shapes and heights when possible. If the painting doesn't stay in the LR, your bedroom would be a great place. I do love your pillows, as have so many of us. Thanks for the tip about ebay; I may buy myself a mother's day present!

The table in the front hall looks great! Yes, I would use 2 ottomans. Are these colors that you are using in other rooms? The front hall sets the tone and those colors should be use in some measure throughout the home. You could put art in the tall space if you want. I don't think a mirror would be an issue with our central vac, though.

It’s a long hall and I would attempt to pull it all together vs just adding something in one spot. By front door you could add a mirror, then use a runner where hall straightens out and a console, art and lamp on wall #1. It will have a nice flow and be welcoming.

New home and I’m learning how to decorated this entry space. I’m happy with the top, but open to suggestions to make it better! For the table top, not sure what to add... maybe a lamp, lanterns or some sort of lighting? One thing or multiple things? What do you think?

I would keep it simple.

I would eliminate the lamp all together and just add a pretty elongated gold bowl.

everything seems a bit under scaled here, I also think the console color is wrong for the space. Maybe starting from scratch is the best option. The third photo above that Beverly posted is a super look for you.
