Please help me choose a rug shape/size
Comments (7)I was watching a decorating show the other day and they said a rug should always be touched by several pieces of furniture and never be just "floating"... so I'd buy the size rug that would go under more furniture pieces. Are you still thinking of buying from Decorator's Outlet? Check the 80% off rug section.. you might find something you like there and you can save all kinds of $$$. Your office is looking great BTW....See MoreRug size and furniture placement help please!
Comments (2)Let's get you some answers.... I'll comment first to get the ball rolling. I like your room. Yes, add another sofa table to the back of the sectional that faces the room (either a twin of what you have, or a longer table) Your end tables are fine, but a little small for your lamps. If you want new end tables, I'd choose rounded ones to mimic the round lamps. However, that will compromise your storage (Is there anything in those baskets? Do you use the baskets? Add some snuggly throw blankets in your colors. A sectional is perfect for TV/movie viewing. I'd like to see a pattern in either a rug OR wall art. You said you have a pool..... Bring that relaxing feel indoors with this Feizy "ocean rug" (Feizy Lorraine collection) It looks like sunlight reflected off water. I've seen this rug in two different blue colors ocean and midnight blue. There is a sea green color: mariner, as well. ocean (pic taken while shopping in store) https://www.livingspaces.com/pdp-96x132-rug-tristen-ocean-82326...See MoreI Need help to choose and layout furniture!
Comments (0)Hello. I am new here. I just move in and unfortunately I do not know how to decorate and layout furniture in this odd living room. Luckily, I did not buy any furniture yet. Only have 55” tv with bench size 1.2x0.6 metre. I’m trying to figure it out what kind of furniture fit best in this area. By the way, my living room has 3 doorways and 1 window. The room size is 3x4 metre. I wish to have a cozy and comfortable living room. All your advice and opinion is much appreciated. Thank you in advance. my wish list Or...See MoreFurniture for new covered backyard patio - Size and Layout - Help!
Comments (2)Thank you, Patricia. Here is a rough outline of the patio area. All of the patio is concrete. The grill area, open patio area A and covered patio area B are all on the same level. There are steps from area A into the backyard. I have noted 2 doors into the house. There are also steps on the right of covered area B into the side yard (the steps are the entire length , 21.5'). Covered Patio C is one step higher than the rest of the patio (it is part of the original house foundation). I am interested in the area in covered patio B. We would like to put a dining table and a separate seating area (maybe arranged to view the yard?). Our style is traditional (not coastal or modern). Thanks for any advice you can provide!...See MoreRelated Professionals
