Replacing hardwood with LVP?

I wanted to get some options on this. Single floor, $200,000 (ish) house built in '87 has hardwood in the living room and hallway that needed to be refinished years ago. The house was empty for 4 years and had a window shattered, so part of the wood floor is cupped and has water spots. The bedrooms have carpeting that also needs to be replaced. I'm considering putting LVP throughout, including the kitchen, mudroom, and bathroom.

I'm wondering if refinishing the hardwood would really make a difference in resale overall, vs replacing everything with LVP, especially at that price point. We're probably planning to sell in the next 5 years or so.

ETA, we're in Southern PA, if that helps at all.
