You need a LOT of natural light for any of these "beachy" pale blue/green colors to really shine. The op space is dimmed by a covered balcony, /porch. It is not this, and note the trim and upholstery. The whites are what set off the fresh color

As someone else suggested paint an accent wall with the blue color you have selected and maybe live with it for a while. If you are comfortable with it you could paint the rest of the walls blue too. But, for a beach house look, I would keep the colors light and include white in some of the elements - furnishings, accessories, etc.

To me, softer warmer hues are sometimes better for dimmer spaces, personally I detest chilly tones in light that is already cool, our front room was a chilly and harsh turquoise ish blue, had to paint over it. We had a huge shade tree at front plus a covered porch, it just felt cold and unsettling. At a lakefront cottage drenched in sunlight, it might have been a different story.

My new plan is to now go for a beach sand color. pretty white with a touch of something else. We are in Naples, I’m going to get a sample of sand from the beach and try to match. I just can’t convey my thanks enough to all of you. I’m reading and absorbing every comment! I’ll keep in touch too!

The key with blue it to select a grayed down shade like Sherwin samovar silver 6233.

I think light blue will look good on the walls, but, I have to say, I dont like the one you picked and it doesnt remind me of the beach at all. It looks like it belongs in a bedroom, or a nursery. Pick a blue that has a bit of aqua tint to it, for the beachy look.

Your floors are quite similar in color to my look alike wood porcelain.. I couldn’t get any closer to the ocean where I am.. What I suggest is that you don’t go too beachy. It’s a been there, done that look and, I promise, you will get so sick of it. Add to that every condo you go in will have starfish and coral prints and boats…hey, you can go outside and see the real thing.

I used B.M. Ice Formations. Inspiration for your condo, but you choose your art and accent colors. Love the art everdebz suggested.

Everdebz I just love the decor you’re picking out for me to consider! I was thinking of a jute rug under my dining set, which is part of the living area. The dining set I’m thinking might be griege with a darker top and uph chairs. My couch is either tan or whitish, haven’t decided on the color. I was thinking a beautiful blue rug for living area, I love the blue one you chose but it’s a bit more money, I’ll look for something similar.

you might try SW Sea Salt in your space. It is very mercurial , so please test a large area first. I just painted our coastal cottage living room with sea salt and it looks lovely- not nursery or bedroom looking at all.

Maybe this has the honey color of your fan, etc...

Since you're on right now - the sharp look of deep blue/ off-white [sofa] -does that mean you like the nautical/sport direction?

Pittsburgh Paint called Scotch Mist orBenjamin Moore Maritime White. They are versions of each other. I originally wanted to stay beach and soft, but financItaly made sense to keep a few pieces of our darker furniture which led me more nautical like you say. I’m really happy with choices so far and can’t wait to show you! I’m stil trying to maintain an airy light feel through it all, but I do have limitations with money. I’m looking at the pillows now you suggest.
