HO-HUM... Where would you start/stop backsplash?
Comments (13)I would consider using the BASE CABINET edge as your stopping point. You would have a little countertop edge sticking out from the backsplash and your uppers would stick out as well. Draw a line and see if you like it. One option (more expensive) would be to tile all the way to the edge of the corner and down to the baseboards. You might have enough scrap to make that happen. That way you won't even realize it is not lined up. good luck!...See MoreWhere to stop backsplash?
Comments (4)Does your backsplash go all the way up to meet the upper cabinets? If so, I think that's a good place to stop. I've seen some here angle or step down to the end of the counter, but that depends if your tile style will do that nicely, and if you like the look, of course. I'm kind of a keep it simple sort and would probably end at the uppers. I would just end with the tile (unless it really looks crummy on the edges) or a bullnosed version of it, if there is one....See MoreWhere to stop backsplash?
Comments (1)Should I stop at bottom of cupboard or keep going to ceiling and down other side? Use trim piece to stop at cupboard?...See Morewhere to start and stop backsplash
Comments (9)Here is a 40 second video of every cabinet I took to inventory knobs. New topic would be for other cabinet in living room but I won’t go there now. I’m in love with grays and dark blue but will add dark blue maybe with living room cabinet…?...See MoreSteph
