Can anyone tell me about this architectural style?
Comments (4)I have no expertise in any way, but the first thing I thought of when I saw your pic was a Spanish Mission... I research a little and discovered it may be called Spanish Revival. Here's a link to a Mission in California that I think resembles this architecture. http://www.californiamissions.com/cahistory/sancarlos.html...See MoreWhat is this architecture style or styles?
Comments (5)it's traditional for sure. It has some elements of colonial revival.maybe some Dutch ones? but it's a mix. I think. A take on. I'd be very interested in other comments, since I'm just learning the basics of atchitectural styles nothing mcm about it though. Not from I can see I'd say: it's a nice house....See MoreWhat style architecture is this home and help on shutter color!
Comments (15)Yes I agree with wmsimons85 your beautiful home has a French Country influence. I did a bit of research regarding this style of architecture and the traditional paint colors used. In looking at the choices I was trying to find options that I believe would work well with your stone work, shingle color, dark wood front door and cream house paint.I attached some photos to illustrate the color options. blue/gray, mint colored - similar to what you have with a bit more green and a gray/brown. However, the shutter color you have is typical French Country so that one works really well too. Look forward to seeing what you decide!...See MoreDoes anyone know what this table style is called?
Comments (3)Yes, it’s a leaf and the pads. I specifically like how it bows in towards the center but can’t find what the style is called. I did check underneath the table and chairs but couldn’t find a marking....See Moretedbixby
