Are my plants aggravating my son's asthma?

Marta

I've had an especially hard time managing my son's allergies this last year. I'm thinking about anything new that could possibly be aggravating him.

I know any mold and fungal spores cam obviously aggravate it. When I Google it many people discuss the air filtering benefits but there are many sites that discuss how many plants can aggravate asthma and allergy sufferers. One plant that is mentioned many times is a ficus. I have a 4-5 ft fiddle leaf fig tree and now I'm worried it's causing problems. I have a leave lily, spider plant, parlor palm, plenty of succulents/aloe/jade etc. Another site mentioned spider plants and palm as having irritating spores.

Any insight or advice? I do plant on letting me mom babysit the plant but I wanted to get your expert opinions. TIA
