Comments (8)I have the same issue as Nickelbach! I isolated two new unnamed Optimaras and noticed yesterday that one of the plants has greyish fuzz on each pollen sac. No fuzz anywhere else, just the pollen sacs of open flowers. I have no idea what that fuzz is, but removed every single flower, bud, and flowerstalk, and sprayed the plant with neem oil solution. I looked at it under a magnifying glass and it looks more like mold and not like a critter. And it is not powdery at all. I've searched high and low to find out what this is but only found this thread. At least I'm not alone. Like the above person asked, is this mold? or something else? Comments (13)"Wish I owned the house next door. I could do one room for each Holiday and leave it up ALL year round. Then I wouldn't need storage space either. Sounds like a plan to me!! ;o)" Oh Karen - I can so relate to that thought process. The house next door to us has been vacant more than it has been occupied in the 13 years that I have lived here. Hubby and I have kidded about buying it for the past 3 years - he wants the side yard for more veggie garden - we want the room with the big bank of windows on the front for a sunroom for plants and I want the rest for decorating and storage - if the economy were better it would be very very tempting. Now to your decorating - beautiful as always. You sounded like a kid in a candy store describing what was in that tub :D One can NEVER have too many pumpkins and fall leaves - there is always a place to tuck one in here and there. TFS ..... Comments (2)Your request is too complicated and specific. I don't think you'll find any such guide. If you break it into small steps you'll find each step is doable one at a time. 1.) Remove old fixture: Turn off power, remove bulbs, remove the metal cover over the ballast, disconnect the wires (probably three) undo the fasteners that hold the fixure to the ceiling, lower it to the floor, cap off wires, tuck them into their electrical box, put a cover on it. Turn power back on. First step done. 2.) You now have an unfinished rectangular(?) recess in the ceiling. Finish it like any other wall or ceiling. Sheetrock is simple, adaptable, effective. Paint it white after it dries. 3.) I don't know about the track light. If you want spots of light here and there it'll do. Swapping out the old two-bulb T-12 fixture for a new four-bulb T-8 fixture would give you a whole lot more light, be lower maintenance, be more economical to run. If you still want the track, you just attach the supports to the ceiling, run the track, connect the track to the same place the old light got power, and off you go. >The cabinets already have undermount lights. Can they be made more powerful?...See MoreNeed help with small kitchen counter space design
Comments (14)Correct. The gas and water lines are stuck on that wall and crossing them over each other would be expensive and I'm not sure it would buy me too much. I considered moving either the sink or the range to the other wall, but since I couldn't do anything with the space above it due to the breaker box and front door buzzer (building doesn't allow moving it) I felt kind of stuck. Also, it's not the best thing to walk right into when first entering the apartment. Range is gas. There is a hood vented to an air duct that runs the whole building - here's another view: As far as the fridge is concerned - it's not counter depth. It has a pantry to the side followed by a small base cabinet, and a small cabinet above it (you can barely see it in the picture. The issue with a 24" sink cabinet is that it doesn't fit with the wall cabinet above it, which is 30" (smallest IKEA has with double doors - again I can't win)....See Moresushipup1
