Wallpaper against a "warm" wall (Heat Resistant)

I have floating shelves against a kitchen wall. Unfortunately, that wall has water pipes and it gets quite warm. I have a small kitchen in an apartment so putting shelves elsewhere is not an option (nor is finding a bookshelf because I really need every inch!). I put fruit on the shelves (don't have anywhere else to put them) but they spoil quickly because of how warm that area gets.

Any pretty wallpapers that will absorb the heat and keep the area cool like the rest of the kitchen?

* Edited to add: someone suggested putting a cork roll to absorb the heat. But any other wallpaper materials that might do something similar?

Thanks in advance!
