Opinions needed on leather furniture colors
Comments (14)Thanks for all the replies! Linda brk--thanks for your pictures--your room looks great! After taking a hard look at my living room last night, I also agree that we have more than enough green in the room already and that a green sofa would not work. Robin dc I'd love to see your pictures as caramel, camel and tan are probably the best choices. My problem is that my accent colors are green and a dark orangy red and I think blue and red are better accent colors for chocolate brown, like in Linda brk's picture. Yes, I am thinking of getting more Ekornes. I think I have finally learned my lesson--the color and style of my two Ekornes chairs was dictated by a 400 lb gorilla couch at our old house and if I get more chocolate brown I will just keep going in a direction I did not like in the first place. My problem is that I don't think that chocolate brown goes very well with sagey greens, but I really can't change the green and the stressless chairs are too nice to not use and then I don't have enough decorating sense to imagine how it could all be pulled together! Thanks again for all of the help!...See Moreplease-in need of paint color opinions
Comments (28)Just want to say thank you for your opinions and pictures. They were all very helpful. This is a big decision for us, as the room is large and we are paying to have it painted this time. We've decided on Clay Beige. Also want to emphasize to test larger swatches of paint on the wall and check it at different times of day. Every paint I tried that looked just like "the one" from pics I saw on Houzz looked totally different in my room. I thought Grant beige was it for sure, but oddly during the day it's quite dark and gray, and at night it lightens up and just looks muddy. Room faces South, but maybe the new window with Uv Light coating changes the light? The Clay beige looks nice, much lighter, and I think with all our large empty wall space it'll look best. Wasnt thinking about contrast with the sofa, but after it was mentioned, it helped seal the choice. Off to find a painter, will post pics when done..thanks again, its feels great to finally make a decision!...See MoreNew furniture for foyer- need opinions please
Comments (3)I don't think every space needs to be filled. I like your table and it is fine but a more substantial table would certainly look nice. I wouldn't work just find one, wait until you find one that you can't live without. Until then yours and your chairs are fine....See MoreLiving Room Furniture - opinions needed :D
Comments (34)Great! Thanks for the feedback! I think the couch colour will be slightly darker (like the fabric posted earlier). This was a photoshop overlay attempt :P The wood on the couches can be espresso (black) or walnut (a warm darker brown). I have samples coming in the mail. I photoshopped the legs to be black, cuz I think it'll tie in better, but I worry about the contrast of the cream couch with black legs - That maybe cream couch with warm wood legs is better. I'll post pictures of the two samples as soon as they come in....See MoreAlex Miller
