What have you paired up with your chocolate/brown walls?
Comments (4)Oh, this is hard to describe. The Italian Leather has more of a taupe gray undertone. The dining room has more of a chocolate brown/deep purple undertone? Not sure if that's right. I would get paint chips of each and compare them. I went with the IL because it was on the same paint strip as the other color in the kitchen/family room. But it didn't look odd being next to the dining room. Here is how I picked the color in the dining room...I walked into the BM store and said, I'm looking for a color that looks like dark chocolate.....this is what the gal showed me, I bought it without testing it. lol. (And yes, it took 29 cans of gray sample paint to settle on the foyer color!)...See MoreChocolate covered cherry ice cream bars
Comments (5)mmmmm, those sure do sound good. I've never heard of Blue Bell ice cream, so I'm thinking we don't have them around these parts. I've got to tell you though, I had a McDonald's mocha frappe a few weeks ago and have stopped every Sunday after church to get one. I think I'm addicted. I even take the long way home just so I'll have time to enjoy my treat in a relaxed sort of way. I'll be on the look out for Blue Bell ice cream. You never know, I may just be overlooking it. Comments (7)The absolute best liquid-filled chocolates are from Chocolat in Fredericksburg, Texas. They're handmade in the shop there in the old, old European tradition, which means they not 'injected.' Chocolat offers candy with spirits, wine, coffee, fruit nectar along with other candies. The candy is divine and not to be confused with syrupy, sticky, icky sweet concoctions. Not sure where else chocolates are made this way in the U.S. Wine and spirit experts apparently can identify the liquor or wine vintage inside! One piece is extremely satisfying. Had them in Texas some years ago and haven't forgotten how incredibly delicious they are and what a special treat they make. Comments (58)I've always loved the Cella's too, light or dark, I don't care, and they're about the cheapest you can buy. I thought I'd forego them this year, but this thread made my mouth water. Had to go to WalMart yesterday so I thought I'd pick up a box, but couldn't find the Cella's! I didn't buy the off brand, but will look around for the real thing. I did see some that were blueberry though. I've never seen those before. Not a blueberry lover, I got a couple of boxes for my son. Years ago I worked with a gal whose aunt made homemade chocolate covered brandied cherries. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!!!...See More
