Potted Thuja X-Plicata for winter and recently planted thujas inground

Hello. I've planted about 30 thuja x-plicata in the ground late spring zone 7a and I have 2 of them left over in pots about 2ft tall that I plan to propagate from next spring. I have a couple of questions:

1) Has enough time passed for the 30 inground 2ft tall thujas to be ok for winter? I hope so. They were about 1ft or 1.5ft when planted.

2) I took the 2 potted ones indoors early november. I admit i was too lazy to dig a hole and bury the pots. I have them sitting inside now in front of my sliding glass doors which gets poor direct sunlight, but is bright. Will they be ok there should I put them in my unfinished basement? The basement stays around 55-60 during winter and has full sized windows which brings in some light. I'd rather the basement so i don't have to have them in my kitchen. What do you think?
