This gives it a welcoming feel and would allow you to place a few pots of seasonal color without feeling crowded as your inspiration photo feels to me. Comments (2)I would call your house Cottage Style. There has been an attempt to make it appear Victorian with the added bric a brac on the porch, and perhaps slightly Colonial with the divided door lights. None of which is 1930s. The fence and hedge provide privacy because the large living room and dining room windows look directly onto the street which is very close to the house.
