Tile layout for modern shower and small bathroom.
Comments (3)The sizes don't work together. You need to use one of those sizes, or pick a tile that the sizes are multiples of each other. Like a 12x24, a 6x12, and a 6x6 and a 3x3. Each larger tile can be divided by each lower size tile to work out an even layout....See MoreSmall Bathroom: What size tiles should I use?
Comments (14)I like the idea of a smaller tile on the floor so that the grout line provides added traction. The 2x2 trim, may be something you'd like on the walls but it might not lend itself to spacious open spaces. To me it will break up the space and make it look smaller, but I may be wrong. Have you gone to houzz yet as Babka suggested? There are millions and millions of bathroom pictures. Well maybe only 330,927, I just looked :) But there are so many, you will be able to narrow your search and find something that fits with what you have in mind and compare. Comments (3)I told my tile guy I wanted to be able to use chemicals in the shower so I used ceramic tile (instead of natural stone) and he used epoxy grout. It's been a dream to keep clean so far. I get that pinkish mold...spray it with some clorox and water, let it sit for a couple minutes and rinse..good as new....See MoreTile design for small shower - 10 x 30 tiles + rectified tile question
Comments (2)It's a beautiful tile, but I wonder about how you line up the ridges when two tiles meet in a corner. Is one side of your shower more visible - maybe use this tile on one wall only? I would probably put a seam right in the center of either wall, but a good tile installer should be consulted before you order. We used large width Porcelanosa tile with a dimensional wave pattern in our 5 ft powder room - but on one wall only, and we did the seam in the center....See MoreJAN MOYER
