Thanks guys!!!I was leaning towards #4 also. Of course, it's the most expensive as well. Good point Les about the curves in the cabinets. I didn't even realize that, but thought the stools went with the curves in the dining chairs. I'm not sure if there is any way to relocate those brackets, although it makes sense to do so. The stools are counter height so they should fit (and I've had other stools there before that worked out ok) but I'll be sure to measure. Another good point!

bbstx - Thanks for the imput, but I can't do brown. It just makes it too dull over there. The overall effect was improved with a punch of color. newhomebuilder - I like the gold stripes with your barstools! It ties in well with the geometric pattern on the back, but since mine have such an ornate pattern on the back, I think that the stripes might fight with it. Cute puppy!

AnnieDeighnaugh what are the names of the fabrics you posted? I love the second and third one. I think the third one may actually be the same fabric as on our breakfast room chairs. beekeeperswife I have no idea how I would mock that up but I can certainly try. Maybe I can put a tall table there with some fabric swatches. Also, we'd definitely like to come and visit and see your house. I am here until July 13th and then go to Maine for a month, not sure what your schedule is, but if you've got some open time, send me an email :) aokat15 they were antique chairs purchased on eBay, not very helpful I know. I bought them in September of 2012 and the seller was winecountryestate139. There were actually four chairs but I only bought two, because that was all I needed and they had to be shipped from CA. I suppose there is always a chance that they still have the other two... nancybee_2010 that could work too. I'll have to google some. kksmama there is actually a little bit of brown tones in the blue granite so the coppery color would probably bring that out a little. Holland offers the same in a chair, but I just think that would be too much of the same. I like to mix things up. My breakfast area and family room is off the kitchen and it's done in a 1940s-50's mid-century modern design. I got upholstered chairs from Pier1 Imports. Pier1 no longer carries this chair so I can't post a pic. I might have a picture at home I can send later. They also have black leather upholstered chairs on sale right now.
