Comments (6)Thanks for the suggestions. I hadn't thought of using the blue from the fabric but that might work. I'll see if I can find something with chocolate, gold and blue in a stripe pattern and post back my findings for more opinions. I thought about using the green from the fabric as well - I'm worried that if I go with burgundy it might be a little too much with the rosewood. I love the blue in that fabric - kind of a slate blue but it's very subtle in the fabric. Thanks again - like I said, I'm terrible at this. When I see a mixture of fabrics in a room, I always wish that I had an eye for coordinating like that. Alas, no talent for that!...See MoreChair and rug suggestions please
Comments (8)A leather armchair! I am only saying that b/c I want one so badly for my LR, but can't afford it yet. But, what do you think? I am not great about choosing rugs, but I know most of these folks are, so I'll let them chime in! BTW, where did you get that vase on your wall???? It's great!...See MoreNeed suggestions for recovering chairs and rugs Beach House
Comments (7)I don't think I would use a stripe rug and stripe material for the chair seats... are your chairs the kind that could be slipcovered in white linen/cottom or are you keeping the wood frames visible? Does the line of sight compel you to look through the dining room into say...the kitchen...or is it more off to the side so that is not not that much of a visual distraction?...See MoreSandy
