Paint closet walls white

I am planning to paint closet walls white. There are numerous options in white. i don't know which white to choose from. Can anyone help me choose the best white color? The trims will be white semi gloss and the floor is wooden, stained in special walnut color. The room wall color is off white

Paint the closet the same white as the room or the trim but paint in flat paint, not semi gloss.

It will look great. Page through any kitchen magazine and you should find a kitchen with white mouldings and stained cabinetry. If it were me redoing your kichen I would definately run the uppers all the way to the ceiling and have wood fronts for extra storage. Without adding extra space to your kitchen(assuming you are using the same space as is being taken up now) you have very little countertop space. Cabinets are very expensive and when you get going and add lights, plumbing, counters, tile backsplash you are in the thousands. It is a lot of money to spend to not increase the usable area of your kitchen. Good luck whatever you decide.

what kind of bulbs do you have in there? they look on the lower temperature or 'yellow' end. You may want to replace the lighting, or at least the bulbs to something in a 4000K temp. what color is currently there? it already looks like an off-white. I like using the white straight out of the can with no tint added. it's the perfect white. You could always try that in your closet. with your lighting, it will take on a warmer hue anyway. And, if you don't like it, take it back and have your tint added to it for another color. free. I've never heard of Simply White having a green cast. it's one of the most neutrals whites. Chantilly has a blue/green cast. does it have to be white? why not a color? I'd also paint the wood trim in there a glossy white. it will help w/the freshen-up. Alabaster is a warmer white. pale oak is the perfect neutral and works with everything. (you could do that for the wall and the Alabaster for that wood trim)

Simply White in flat looks a little different than Simply White in semi-gloss. Are your cabinets semi-gloss or eggshell/satin? The difference in sheen changes our perception of the color. My point being you could just paint the walls Simply White and there will be some contrast. If you want more contrast, look at Floral White OC-29 and Soft Chamois OC-13. Soft Chamois for me is a little too bright in a south facing room but brightens up rooms with different exposures. As with all paint, the only way you're going to know what is going to work in your space is to sample.

I would paint the walls in the closet the color of the room, since you are painting both spaces at the same time. Closets are sometimes just painted white, because, it goes with any color walls, and closets are not always painted when one paints a room. Its pretty much your choice. If it were me, and I were painting both, they would be the same color.

We live in an older home and when I painted one bedroom, which was dark blue, I had to paint the closet also because it matched the walls. From that day on, I painted all the inside of the closets white. Looks nice and clean and don't have to paint the closets when changing wall color.

Use the same white as the trim. Just a different sheen.

Use the SAME white you are using for trim, but in a satin finish. Why ? It is the inside of a closet, they get dusty, sometimes you get marks on the walls. There is nothing brighter or easier to wipe up. Or you can use the the same reasoning, same finish and use the OFF WHITE you are using on the bedroom walls. In satin....
