ceiling paint color... ~*~ need help asap!!~*~
Comments (5)I have SW Netsuke on walls and ceilings. I started out on the SW Blonde, etc. card but in our home, those showed up orange, probably because we have Low E windows that are slightly green tinted. So, we scrambled and went one card over to the SW Netsuke, Muslin, Ecru, Harmonic Tan and Artifact line up which we had seen in a Progressive Farmer Idea House in Southern Pines, NC. So, I don't have any of those next to SW Blonde to know how they look together. I love all of our colors, but the green undertones are evident when you put gold fabric next to the wall. Netsuke and Muslin are my favorites. Muslin also looks great on ceilings with white trim and sage walls. Netsuke comes across as a pale yellow-gold and doesn't have as much green undertone as Ecru. Muslin just looks like unbleached muslin fabric to me. Here is a link that might be useful: netsuke on ceiling but with ecru on walls...See Moreceiling fan in slanted tray ceiling?
Comments (17)yes you can,,,and depending how long the rod is, you may need to lengthen it. as for painting, perhaps this will give you some ideas. trim work is very nice looking for the transition from the wall to the ceiling joint. both of these are beautiful. with and without trim so you can see. and dark and light colors I hate the brown, but gives you an idea. this ceiling doesn't seem to be as high as yours what does look good is wood ceiling inside the tray imagine wood like this. gorgeous. and then paint the slanted walls another option there are a bazillion pics of different ways to do these. just google "tray ceilings with fans" or 'tray ceilings" or look on Pinterest....See MoreTray ceiling paint colors dilemma
Comments (23)Let’s assume the blue ceiling is a keeper.... What would you suggest for a ceiling fan replacement? DH is adamant we must have a fan with light. No chandelier for me. Sigh. But he’s okay with an upgrade. Should I switch to white or just get a more updated version in ORB? Not sure I’m interested in introducing new metals. This is one of those times when I don’t know whether to minimize or emphasize. Is smaller an option since the bed is right under it? If you have specific recommendations, please share photos or links. I appreciate everyone’s feedback!...See MoreTray ceilings or something else for these 10ft ceilings?

Or something like this This type of ceilings can be designed and done many different ways, there is also already made molding molds which can make a tray ceiling....See Morejmm1837
