Help!! Our home/ yard needs some TLC... We need ideas!!
Comments (19)We really appreciate you all taking the time to send your suggestions our way!! Many ideas we haven't thought of but are definitely considering. I love the idea of replacing the cedar planks with siding and eliminating the side slope of the roof by adding siding! We agreed that many parts of this house are dated and were unsure as to how to update this 1970's gem!! Removing the hedges is a definite and happening today! Yay! Repainting the front door for the time being is on th list as well!! We want to tackle the pavers first and are having a difficult time choosing the paver color. Beverly... Chicago brick pavers were on the list and we also considered charcoal or trimming the chicago brick with charcoal. Would love suggestions on color !?!?!? Also, we live in Florida... Not sure if that makes a difference....See MoreHelp/ideas needed to update the home exterior
Comments (7)We have debated about simply painting it - but then the question is always "Go light (cream) or go dark (espresso)?" Did you use a website or software to adjust the paint color in the image above? I'd like to play around with some other options and see how they might look. Thanks for your advice....See Morelooking for ideas on how to update this home. Roof and any other idea?
Comments (0)Looking for ideas on how to update this small shed style 70s home, siding is new hardie plank with aluminum shutters , definitely needs a new roof and any other ideas are welcome. I'm stuck and can't think of anything. Considering a matte standing seam roof but also thought about should a porch be added over the front door. Thinking of removing louver shutter spacers perhaps or black windows. Different paint color maybe. I'm stuck for how to improve the exterior. Considering painting the fence black as well or a metal frame fence with wood slats. Thanks for any opinions....See Moreneed help with ideas on how to update the exterior of my home
Comments (2)Several things you could do: Remove the flower bed in front of the door; it’s usually not a good thing to plant right in front of your main entry. Mentioning the front door, paint the bright white trim to match the door. Same on the garage - match the trim to the door. Remove those shutter-ettes from the second story windows. Very obviously fakes. Have you thought of a shade of green for your house body? Samples below. I like the brick and it goes well with your roof....See Moreapple_pie_order
