Yes, Trader Joe’s has them, a dog version and a cat version,
Good Lord! What next. I love, love, love, my dog, but this is nutso!
How funny! I bought three of the dog version this week to give as gifts.
Isn't the human version 99 cents?
MIL & SIL had a felt one that hung on their fireplace, yearly, with yarn to tie little milk bones for their Cockapoo. Not sure how long that would have lasted with our Lab and lab wannabe. Good girls, but sure those cookies as well as the adorable felt calendar would have been a one time thing.
It is nice to have fun with our dogs. No doubt in a few days they notice that when people walk to that "thing," a treat comes.
Knowing labs, they would eat all the Milk Bones and the felt in one sitting!
Don't wish to be a Scrooge, but our pets don't really know or care about holidays. IMO it would be better to donate the cost of those calendars to a local shelter... Just a thought...
Agree with roxanna. What a waste of money. Bah humbug.
I'd never buy one for our dog and even though DH thinks she's the smartest dog out there - he wouldn't either. But if I happened to be standing next to them I might buy one for my DD and her dog. She's single and her dog is her best buddy.
My children and grandchildren always enjoyed their advent calendar (one made by my MIL for DS's first Christmas, 2nd a copy of it I made many years ago). My pets? I don't see them getting excited about who gets a particular ornament each year! Now if I put a treat in each pocket, they'd go nuts! Ain't happening - enough nuts already.
Found out this morning that our fur baby has a tumor, probably cancerous. I'm thinking I might get one of these, because he deserves it for bringing so much joy into our lives.
Awww... @nhbaskets...sorry to hear about your pup.
nh, so very sorry. I hope he feels well enough to enjoy the goodies in a calendar. It's heartbreaking to see a pet fail after they have been with us through thick and thin. Best wishes.
