Planting Pine tree on a hill

So I decided to plant this Pinus strobus ‘Angel Falls’ on my hillside because I wanted to stake it high and have this waterfall effect as it weeps down and the skirt cascades down the hillside. I figure that even if the little retaining wall isn’t permanent due to root disruption (or gravity) it should last long enough for the tree to get established.

Now I’m looking at it and imagining the roots hitting the underlying rocks and the tree pushing itself out of the ground and leaning forward until it topples into the street. Should I be worried or just something to deal with after 10 years or more?
