Don't forget rabbit rabbit!
Comments (15)I wanted to share how rabbit rabbit worked for me last month... DH brought the outdoor wreath down and we plugged it in to check it and a whole string was out. Rats! That was the pre-wired string it came with which means, chasing down each and every bulb would be nothing short of a nightmare on the thing. Would you believe I replaced the 2nd bulb and it lit? We then brought down our tree and plugged it in. Uh oh, a whole string on the tree was out. Would you believe I replaced the 1st bulb and it lit? I wanted to make a gold table runner for xmas and stopped in a fabric store, nosed around a bit and found this long bolt of gold fabric that had a nice sheen. That'd do nicely. Asked the gal how wide it was...120"!!! Whoa! No seam in the middle of my table runner...it just doesn't get better! But wait...I asked how much? She said $9.99/yard. Wow! So I got 3/4 of a yard ... didn't even have to cut it...just sew it together and the size was perfect. Wahoo! Then I went to sew it together and I had some gold thread on the bobbin, but not much. I was like, shoot...I know I don't have enough bobbin thread to make it.... I "always" run out of bobbin like 12" short of what I need. But to make the table runner, you have to sew the edges, but leave an opening so you can turn the thing inside out. Would you believe the bobbin ran out just where I wanted to leave the opening?!? Thank you rabbit rabbit!!...See MoreDon't forget: rabbit rabbit! Tomorrow is Oct 1.
Comments (19)Oh dear, I blew it, kind of. When I was on the big island, I took a piece of lava rock home with me and then all sorts of terrible ills befell my family one after the other, broken bones, surgeries and so on. So then I started saying "Pele Pele Rabbit Rabbit" and the ills went away. So ever since then, I say "Pele Pele Rabbit Rabbit". But this a.m. I screwed up and said Rabbit Rabbit...then Pele Pele...hope she doesn't seek revenge on me this month!!...See MoreDon't forget: rabbit rabbit tomorrow 12/1
Comments (17)Said it about 1:00 a.m. My granddaughter and her husband said it too. They went to the hospital around midnight to check in. Today is her due date to give birth, the doctor decided they needed to induce labor because the baby is already so large. Granddaughter said she and her husband both said it at 12:01 a.m....See MoreDon't forget: rabbit rabbit!
Comments (41)"Luck" of the draw 😉 the tornado could have landed on house, someone could have been in a car accident... It really could have been worse!!!! My child will get there. It's what we all suffer, and grow from. I'd rather they experience it, they'll grow from it. If you don't experience it, you don't live!!!...See MoreJasdip
