Okay--I've decided to hold off on the 'Hollywood Lights' until it's been on the market longer and hopefully specimens available will be larger and I'm going for the 'American Icon'! I hate to start out with wimpy starts, as they just make me too nervous! Hosta should be enjoyed, not hovered over like I will do if they are so small to start out with. I'm always fearful as to what to do with them--plant them in the garden and watch them sit there, still small, for several years or leave them potted where they will hopefully be more water controlled and free from voles and slugs, but then comes winter.....always a risk if not planted in ground!!!

I bought 2 similar idea sorta wagon wheel . I used the small solar lights in them and put them on a pole cemented in a hole in the yard . I may use another one I have and hang from a tree limb with a chain use battery tea lights or even better are the white fingertip lights I got from Amazon..little lights kids wear on fingers on Halloween..they have colors too but they do not throw as.much light. They are great for the glass light covers that are at all the thrift stores. Great for parties n just sitting outside. These types can line a walkway when u have company. These r cool because they are bright n cheap.

Yes, they make a round cover (about 5" dia.) for this. You should be able to find it beside the switch and receptacle coverplates at the hardware store. If the area you want to cover is larger, an electrical supply store would have larger medallions that can be used in conjunction with the 5" cover.

Thanks for all the beautiful pictures! It's good to know it's a late riser like On Stage so I won't be worried about it next spring. I am really looking forward to this one getting bigger!
