Hi everyone -- I'm so sorry, I let this thread get away from me after asking for a clarification! I really appreciate all the pictures of your granite sinks. I am still strongly leaning toward warmfridge's anthracite cascade sink. I don't really know why I'm so taken with the sink but it seems to be some weird emotional thing... I can just tell that's the sink I will end up buying though I can't really justify it at all; it just seems like what a sink should be to me. It's a darn good thing those who have it seem to like it, though I doubt I'd like it so much if I'd been reading negative reports. Thanks for the context-pictures.

I've visited this thread several times and it's interesting that it is still fairly active. I'm looking at the Cristadur waterfall 150 in Bronze. Wayfair carried them a few months ago with good prices but when I checked last night, there were no Schock or Houzer sinks listed on their site. I have found a supplier from Germany on eBay, his listings are rather obscure and you have to dig deep to find them. He carries the entire line including vintage models and colors; GREAT prices with a flat $145 shipping. I currently have a Swanstone in black that drove me crazy when it was new with water marks and looking dry, until I wiped it down with coconut oil a couple of years ago and I've not touched it again. It now wipes down and is cleaned continually from just washing dishes and looks brand new. I'm looking at Schock over Blanco for my remodel in a different house due to the unique look of the waterfall, but I'm worried that it might suffer from being less than utilitarian. They have a matching 15" prep sink which I plan to install as well. Anyone have any real experience with the waterfall design or Schock for that matter?

I have been using Hope's Perfect Sink for the past few years and it is the easiest way I have found to keep my Blanco sink looking nice. (My sink is now about 16 yrs old!) This product cleans and leaves a protective coating on the sink at the same time. I get it at Amazon, but there are probably other places to get it.

I think it depends on what color your cabinets are. I think grey cabinets with the gray sink would look gorgeous. If your cabinets are white, I'd go with white. And if they are stained wood, hmmmm, not quite sure...maybe the bisque. I'm almost thinking if you go black silgranit with soapstone might be a little too much dark, but I'm sure there are people on this site who have done it and it looks gorgeous. Here's what I think would look nice--soapstone countertop, gray silgranit, gray cabinets, and then an island with marble countertop. What do you think, guys? Don't know what color of cabinet I would put with the marble???
