Bedroom: Is This Print Too Small for the Space?
Comments (11)Thanks for all the help. Sounds like some folks think it looks good, others don't, so I'll leave it up for the time being and see if it grows on me. Might as well: If I take it down I'll have to fill the holes and touch-up the paint. Have a feeling I will end up taking it down though... Someone mentioned textiles (curtains, maybe rugs?). I'm not very interested in curtains at the moment, maybe down the road. I went to the trouble and expense of putting in the wood blinds and they look great. Curtains covering those wood blinds just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe it's a guy thing. I will be getting a rug eventually, for the far side of the bed. I will put a small leather chair on it, it will be a nice place for reading/relaxing (the light in the room in the morning and afternoon is fantastic). Thanks again for your help....See MoreIs my rug too small? Any tips on how I can improve the space.
Comments (21)I wouldn’t go with sheers. You’ll want to extend the rod way past the window trim and you’d be seeing wall behind the sheers. You’ll have to remove the mirrors to be able to extend the rod. I don’t think there is a room where white drapes don’t work. Lol....See Morevanity dilemma too small space between alcove
Comments (20)I had a 60” with two sinks. Not worth it-very little counter space between...that last pic has to bigger than 60”. We hardly ever washed our faces/brushed at the exact same time. And the drawers were ridiculously small in between. If the vanity sits between two walls, then a medicine cabinet on each side and one larger sink in the middle with a mirror across the whole back wall. The nice thing about a sink in the middle is you can still have larger drawers to store things. Here’s a good article explaining why you need a minimum of 30” and even that is still uncomfortable to use. https://www.jlconline.com/products-tools/kitchen/kitchen-bath-when-a-double-vanity-just-wont-fit_o...See MoreLamp too small for the space?
Comments (38)Wow, yes, the living room looks better without the china cabinet in that corner, but no it's too big for the dining room wall :( Perhaps it would work better if you angled it, catty-cornered?...See MoreIdaClaire
