Comments (4)We have a frame TV over our fireplace. As long as you have a way to run the cable so it's unobtrusive, it looks just like a piece of art. We bought the frame (which needs to be purchased separately) from deco frames. Don't put a huge TV there unless you don't care about proportion. If you are keeping the hearth, I would try to get brick to match. Comments (6)Please help stop this awful trend of the TV over the fireplace. Just don't do it. It's horrible for watching and looks amateurish no matter how it's done. The illustration with the TV at mid-eye level is a little low for me. I like the middle of the screen about 6 to 8 inches above eye level when seated. Comments (5)Absolutely move the TV to the wall on the right with a console table or cabinet below it. Think about a beautiful art work instead of mirror over the fireplace unless the reflection is great.
