Comments (83)@Kanye - I know you have spent a lot of money on this but don't let that sunk cost rule the decision. Those look like fairly aggressive threads and this could damage the entire panel when they pull out and mean spending a lot more money. Here is my recommendation. Order the above part or find a generic version of it online and order that. When it comes in go to a hardware store and figure out the thread pitch or threads per inch, which is just a fancy way of saying screw on nuts until you find one that fits perfectly and write down that information. It will probably be metric so likely M6x1 or M8x1.25 but it could be SAE, probably 1/4-20 or 12-24. Once you have that information, there are two options that your handy man shouldn't have a problem with. 1.) *Better - Order a female receiver for a sex bolt (a.k.a. binder bolt, connector bolt) that matches that size. Remove the appliance panel and drill a hole through it. Push the female end through the back and thread the post onto it. 2.) If you can't remove the appliance panel, you can use a threaded insert. Threaded inserts still have to deal with wood movement but there is just so much thread area on a threaded insert that they just don't have to worry so much about wood movement. Eventually they are likely fail, but still will likely outlast the appliance. They also have the advantage of being able to be installed without removing the door by simply drilling a proper sized hole in the door and threading the insert in. So long as it is drilled true, the post will be much better....See MoreCopper hardware to match ge cafe appliances
Comments (4)These pulls have three reviews saying they match: two from homeowners, one from a designer. Solid Zinc Cabinet 10" Center to Center Bar Pull Copper Solid Zinc Cabinet 10" Center to Center Bar Pull (Part number: SQBP-ZCOP-9MM-10) by Celeste Designs SKU: CEDG1048 Pic from review: Reviews: Love these pulls! They match my new GE Cafe appliances with copper handles. The 8-in is a great size for both drawers and doors. Love these copper pulls!! I looked for months to find a match for the copper pulls on my new GE Cafe appliances, without luck. Each time I would order one to try. Even GE couldnât tell me who carried matching pulls. When I saw these online, I was so excited but again, only ordered one to try. When it came in, I couldnât believe I finally found a match! These are solid pulls so have a nice weight too. Thank you, Celeste Designs and W! Very nice pull. Used in my clients kitchen to accent the GE Cafe Series white appliances with the copper handles. A very nice compliment to the cabinets!...See MoreCafé appliances with Speakman faucet in Brushed Bronze & Kraus in ACB?
Comments (1)I don't have answers but if you are working with a design showroom a rep there should be able to tell you. Or perhaps the manufacturer(s) can provide advice. Good luck and have fun - love brushed bronze!...See Moremelissa meyers
