how to tell how bad the damage is
Comments (4)Sorry to say, the only answer is "it depends" and "wait and see". Maybe smooth out the edges of the bites, if need be, so there is less roughness to invite possible disease, but otherwise, leave them alone and time will tell. They SHOULD be OK. My brother's horse will also eat hawthorns if she can, although she usually (right now) eats the leaves and the branches. She also loves hollies, and will eat every leaf off them, given a chance! She's being hand grazed on the lawn twice a day, after bone chip surgery, so is pulled away from whatever she does manage to sneak up on before she can get to the bark and the trunk, or she probably would eat the whole tree. I do hope your horse doesn't get out again. However, it's a LOT cheaper to replace trees than to deal with the possible aftermaths if s/he had gone out on the road and met a car!!!...See MoreI told you the storms were bad here, but didn't know quite how bad

Comments (18)"the total including finishing, installation and countertops are now less than 5k per vanity". And it seems that is your best option, ASSUMING you would post a drawing/s of the bath plans. Which you have yet to do. You keep saying you don't understand the gap/overhang issue. This is not that difficult. Below : Room and Board. Note the STRAIGHT side of the vanity. Note I have selected "left side only " for overhang. See that there is a SIDE splash on the right, which would protect the wall on the right. Note the price and the material. ( MDF ) No different than most online sources for ready made. And also note you never do this ( below ) . .................Even with no overhang on the right, this vanity (right) side, will never butt to a wall, and we know that from one look at the lower leg. To look good? The vanity needs a move to the left of about six inches. That's why. I'd advise you to seek a designer for help with the rest of your build. Particularly your kitchen: )...See MoreHow bad is tile grout, really?
Comments (6)It depends. In my current house we have bright white prism (cementitious) grout. It is a constant battle in our shower, I think it’s something to do with the water. No issues in the kitchen. Floor tiles are fine as long as I make sure mop water is changed frequently. In the previous house, I used the custom premixed grout, which is an acrylic and had no problems whatsoever. It’s a rental and cleaning up after filthy tenants is fairly easy. House before that was epoxy and I loved it too. The current issue with my shower is maddening, though. I wouldn’t recommend prism....See Morelupins4
