SO MUCH FOR ALL THE COCONUT SUPPORT.. Think I will stick to the bark as usual. This was a chance to show everyone else how much backing you get on growing in coir...Thank you Al, Greenman, drunkenmonk, Jojo, mgk for coming to my rescue along with everyone else who was concerned enough to see me care for my plants properly in Coir.. It is the same thing as last time I tried.. No hope for my plants in Coir Thank to all the bark experts, I will post my plants once I see any improvements and thank you again. For anyone that was sarcastic with my approach for encouraging any here to grow in bark based mixes, this was your chance to help. I ask you to please stop harping on the ones that have always been here with instant support and a genuine interest in helping others to succeed in better mixes.. My plants would be DEAD by the time any Coir experts would step up to the plate as in past years..Thanks anyway.. I have decided to switch my plants out of the coir for the fact they are declining to quickly to wait upon Coco helpers I must than Mgk for being the only one to step up and try to help in private. Probably seems like all you see is white, white, white because that is what gets published in all of the magazines these days. If you believe everyone has what they publish you would have to buy inset styling too; simply not a dominant style for the masses though. There are cetainly some parts of the country where your neighbors might talk behind your back if you don't do white, but those people aren't your friends :) Best advise is buy what you love; if it isn't white don't worry, you aren't alone. There are a lot of wood lovers around who wouldn't dream of having anything else. Alder finishes beautifully in virtually any color of stain. There have been some comments about Lyptus and that is another wonderful specie when finished in stains - my favorite darker brown-tone with black glaze. There is actually a fair amount of mixing and matching going on these days too. As an example, here is a link to a Lyptus kitchen with a white painted island. Georgous!! 1. Echinopsis subdenudata aka:Domino Cactus 2. Parodia scopa var. sulphurea 3. Right- Parodia leninghausii(This plant will always be a Notocactus in my heart:)). Middle- definitely one of those Oreocereus Old Man Cactus. Looks like O. trollii:). Left- A Mammillaria:) I see some similarities in yours and M. bombycina. Not 100% sure on the species, but the genus is definitely a Mammillaria:). I must tell you that you have really nice specimens of cactus:). Wherever you got them, they know how to grow beautiful cactus.

Golden Goose, an Italian brand, makes loads of very upscale sneakers that are narrower and have an inner wedge. I have AA feet and AAAA heels and my pair of "Ballstars" in Golden Goose fit well and are comfortable. (found luckily at half price @ $280). I've also tried their "Superstar" line which seemed well-fitting. Flexx are comfortable although not super narrow. It's tough finding narrow boots, shoes, and flip-flops. I agree that shoes made in Europe have always fit me best. I have had some luck with Frye, though. And also Coclico and Pedro Garcia, made in Spain.
