Comments (450)@Abballmom @Michelle G @pamela1154 @Megan Redlich We are choosing between carpet and CoreTec Calypso Oak in a bonus room/playroom. I do love the colors and appreciate all of your photos! A couple of questions: - For those who have it on an upper level: what is the noise like below? This would be on our second story above my husband's office so I worry a bit about this, especially compared to carpet. - Is it easy to clean? Any issues with vacuum (or a roomba) scratching it? - What about scratching in general? We have a large dog...and young kids who love to push all kinds of things around on the floor :) - Are you generally still happy with your choice? Thank you so much!...See MoreDoes anyone have photos of COREtec floors in Waddington Oak
Comments (8)Has anyone installed Coretec’s Conch Ash? it’s in their ”Original” Premium” line, whatever that means. Another one we’re considering is Coretec’s Aurora Oak. Would love feedback on either or both!...See MoreManila Oak vs Calypso Oak COREtec vinyl plank flooring
Comments (3)I am having the same dilemna! We have to replace the flooring in our tiny vacation rental condo. I definitely want Coretec, but I'm having a hard time deciding between these two. I love the simplicity and elegance of the Calypso Oak, but worry that it will turn out too light. The Manila has such beautiful depth, but I'm afraid it might pull too much orange. All the photos of installed Calypso give the caveat that it is much lighter in reality. Too bad, because I love the way it looks in pics. I am also worried that Manila might be a bit busy. We bought our condo furnished and the sofa is staying. It is a queen sleeper, but it is patterned and in a darker color. Unfortunately I can't buy a box and try them both out since we have to have the installation done in a couple of weeks in between renters and we won't be there until the actual work begins. Also, the unit is pet friendly and I worry that paw prints might show up more easily in between housekeeping. Wish I could find something inbetween these two colors....See MoreOak & Broad
