I don't know if it is unique, but they form a social size related group with other clownfish that live near a specific anemone and can actually change gender.

Unique only to me since I'm scared of clowns, I guess it's the one fish I never want to meet in a dark ocean.

They have a symbiotic relationship with anemone. They are immune to it's poison. So they hide in the anemone to keep from being eaten. Like Lucille mentioned...if the group is lacking a male for instance, they can change their sex to fill a need in the group.

They are immune to the sting of the Sea Anemone, so they can live amongst them, other fish can't.

Jasdip, I hope you know that you're not suppose to refrigerate onions, but it does make it easier to peel and dice. I was good for many years because I wore contact lenses........never teared up. However, dry eyes made it difficult to remove them, and my vision got better enough that I no longer needed them so now I suffer when doing mass onion chopping.

Georgysmom, why not refrigerate onions?? They always live in my crisper and keep a long, long time. I know you're not supposed to refrigerate potatoes, but didn't know about onions.

Jasdip, the fridge temp can be too cold and/or humid which can encourage spoiling with onions. OTOH, leeks and green onions should be stored in the fridge due to their higher water content. Cool, dry, dark and ventilated is best for storing whole, bulb onions. However, if the fridge has worked fine for you, I say don't stop.
For years I tried to convince my mom NOT to refrigerate tomatoes but never succeeded.

It's easier to swim since they wear big shoes.

Thanks Chloebud. I'm going to keep refrigerating them. Any I've had at room temp get soft and sprout on me. Never happens in the frig. I have some in the net bag at room temp because my crispers are full! I'll do a comparison. :-)

Jasdip, I keep mine in a basket in the pantry which works nicely. However, I use what I have fairly quickly, so they don't have much time to sprout.
