oops--aeris windows cx900
Comments (1)Its a pretty new offering, so it appears that none of us have experience with it yet. I can say that in general, ProVia doesn't make anything that is not at least "decent", but they do specialize more in entry doors. Do you have any specs on it?...See MoreAeris WX1000 vs Soft-Lite Elements
Comments (16)+1. Both within the range of reason. Reiterating my thoughts above, on product alone, I'd take the Softlite but it may be hard to justify the added cost. That said, you should really give weight to which company that you feel is more trustworthy, will do a better install, and offers more security. Even if both seem good, do a little bit more digging to make sure that you make the right choice. That aspect could easily make up the price difference if that aspects tilts toward the pricier option, OR make the cheaper option even more appealing if that is the case....See MoreProvia Aeris Sliding Patio Doors - ComforTech TLA-UV or DLA-UV Glass?
Comments (1)I've not generally been a huge fan of wood/vinyl combo products, but the Aeris is actually fairly compelling, particularly for a wood interior window, prefinished, at a decent price point. I think that you would be happy with that choice... Regarding double vs triple pane, its relative. Is it less important in your area than in a cold climate like here in WI? Certainly. That said, even a triple pane window will only be a fraction of the thermal performance of your walls. If you do a fair amount of conditioning of your interior air (either heating or cooling), you would not be crazy for choosing it at all if budget allows. If otoh you have you windows open 350 days per year, then why bother ;)...See MoreProvia Aspect window reviews
Comments (6)Just had 15 Aspect windows installed, 13 double hung and 2 casements. Liked the thinner frame (we upgraded to foam filled) because we have a colonial style house with tall narrow windows and wanted a quality window that allows maximum glass size. Approx $800/window installed including cleanup and debris removal. Installer seamed to take time to make sure everything was done properly. Fit is consistent and all window operate smoothly. 2 weeks after install, all is good, the real test is the upcoming Wisconsin winter....See Moretoddinmn
