Will you be painting the trim around the windows also? Right now the trim is white and your garage door is white. I think they should match. You could paint trim/garage door beige like the little molding below the stone part of your house. That qould look good, I think. Your front door could be any color...mine is red and I love it.

I know this is an old post, but I have a similar issue with my parent’s house, which is all stucco. I decorate their home every Christmas and they are adamant that I do not penetrate the stucco, so I have never been able to hang garland around their door. I don’t know how people use those command hooks to hand garland. I have attempted to use them around my door and my garland is always too heavy and ends up falling! After this past Christmas I was determined to come up with a solution. My plan is to build a frame out of wood and attach the garland directly to the frame using a staple gun. They, luckily, have a large garage to store when not in use. I will paint the frame green so it won’t be so noticeable and I’m thinking of securing it in concrete half blocks and let the garland puddle around it to conceal. My only concern is that the weight of the decorated garland may possibly pull the structure forward, so I I may have to figure out a way to balance it and need to prepare myself for some trial and error.

Did you look at images for church doors. I did a Google Search and there were quite a few options. There was one where the railings were decorated and there were small trees at the end of each railing. you could use small evergreen wreaths. If that would interfere with people making use of the railings you could swag the Garland. Evergreen Garland around the doors and a wreath on each side of the doors would look nice as well
