Lennie...sounds like fun. Are you saying all campgrounds are off limits now? Sheesh! We used to go camping every weekend..we found an 'unknown,' secluded area to set up our little tents. :) The area resembled an island..we named it Cujo Island, after our dog who loved swimming in the Des Plaines/ Kankakee River and play with the beavers in Channahon, IL. We had so much fun. I made breakfast, lunch and dinner on a 1.99 metal grill. Couldn'd do it anymore though. The meals were delicious. We used old wood, not coal brisquits or gas. We do not hunt in the literal sense, but we used to hunt for wildlife..to look at...not harm..sorry. :) Lennie, I have relatives in MI. As a child, we'd visit my aunt, uncle and cousins in Allegan, MI..Ever hear of Allegan? They had a beautiful farm. Think I was 4 or 5 when we first started visiting, that I remember..I also think, browsing large fields of greens initially got me hooked on plants. lol I remember standing in one field w/zillions of berries. I snuck inside, awestruck. Anyway, MI is a beautiful state. Well, at least cities, 'I remember Kalamazoo,' not too far from my aunt and uncles farm. Don't know if it's changed. My aunt and uncle passed away several years ago, but cousins remain in MI. When my uncle was diagnosed with cancer, they sold the farm, then rented. She once confessed how much she missed the farm. In my opinion Bloody Mary is an illegitimate name, it is actually Majesty which is a very old hybrid. Some wholesaler probably had thousands to sell but didn't know the name, so made one up. I've been growing Majesty for decades and "Bloody Mary" for a few years, there is no difference between the two. Leland Laren, Jay is correct... I agree that your specimen is Pink Princess that's lost its variegation. Note the pink stripes along petiole edges, this is typical of Pink Princess and would not occur on any other philo, especially a non-variegated one. If you haven't done it already, it would be interesting if you would take cuttings from your plant to see if latent nodes along the stems would produce new plants with variegation. Cuttings near the base, or the base itself, would be most likely to produce variegation. Of course that means butchering your plant more than you might like. I have many, many plants of Pink Princess, including large ones in 3 gallon pots. My experience is that in general, the bigger they grow, the less variegation they have. Among new offsets from propagated plants, I often get one or two with no variegation. Interestingly, I see no difference whatsoever between these unvariegated plants and an old, vintage philodendron called Royal Queen. So I think Pink Princess is a sport from Royal Queen, perhaps occurring 80 to 100 years ago. Please post results if you've propagated your plant already, or might consider it this spring or summer. Jay Kay - I saw that post you made on Jessenia and have been monitoring it. I have already started to watch for it in my area! Below is a link to the original post I made on Jade Satin and how I came to have this patented plant. I have never seen it for sale anywhere. In my (limited) experience it is very slow growing but I think it is so pretty! I did have to order my Jade pothos online last year. But now in my new job there is a large one that I have taken a few cuttings from and am waiting for them to root. There is someone on here that has mixed pots of philos that I love and I want to do that with some pothos. I would love to have a big pot with Jade, MQ, golden and some variegated like Manjula, Pearls and Jade or others. I know lots of people think pothos are boring or "old fashioned" but a big, bushy, pothos with long vines to me is so pretty. I love outdoor gardening too and where I live, many months out of the year that is simply not possible. So these plants satiate my gardening urges over the winter! Epipremnum Jade Satin

Hi Brad, Sorry, but I gotta wait a week to mail my pkg, got an injection in my shoulder & can't carry anything just now. But I'll be sending the CW & a cutting of the E milii morattii, which needs to be rooted in water (sounds weird, I know) I've discovered here thru the yrs. of mailing pkgs to folks Priority, sending 'em out on Tues. seems to get them there Fri, so that's what I try to do. Will aim to send mine out next Tues. Also, wanted to recommend you pass on the Ceropegia sandersonii. I grew it for a couple of yrs & it wasn't anything special, did nothing actually. I also shared some w/ our Hoya friends Denise in Omaha & Josh (Greenman). Denise said hers dropped its leaves & went dormant, don't recall any feedback from Josh. You can probably still search some of those threads ... hum Didn't want you to be disappointed, suggest you save your money for a more rewarding plant.
