Trim color with SW Alabaster walls?

West facing living room, medium-dark exposed beams, wood paneling walls, hardwood floors. Painted over paneling with SW Alabaster and it looks great. Will be redoing the floors in a lighter tone. Looking for some recommendations for trim and window paint. Forgot to take a pic after the walls were painted but here is the before. We also took down all the terrible track lighting by the windows and installed 6 recessed lights between the beams. Will also be whitewashing all the brick. Any help appreciated!

no pic. try again.

get some samples. try Simply White. (or Pure White in SW)

Or, just do what I did. get the same trim color as your walls, but get it in Semi gloss. I did Simply white on both

If it were my house, I would match the trim to the cabinets. The ceiling color would depend on the wall color, height of the room, amount of natural light, and maybe some other factors. I like to see a colored ceiling when there is crown molding.

Has anyone used SW Alabaster trim with SW Natural Choice walls?

We used SW Natural Choice on walls, and BM Cloud White on trim (a warm white) but use what you love or paint a small area and see what you think. In our house the natural choice leans very slightly green.....we used 2/3 strength in the rest of the house, except for the dining room.....we live in high desert and low humidity....which can affect how colors look! Here is 2/3 strength of natural choice with cloud white trim Here is full strength natural choice with cloud white trim.

I have never liked that beige it always reminds me of fleash color . As for a white to work with it maybe pure white from SW I would check out the Creamy inside Mixing whites is always a bit of a challenge since they all have undertones I like a pale grayed/ green for wall color it is neutral but always looks good with whites .I love silver strand SW

I picked up a sample board at a flooring store. It’s still hard to tell with that size but better than the little square. When you are close to making a decision, you should buy 1 box and lay it around. Also - I found that Costco sells calypso oak. The website allows you to see what it looks like in your house. says you painted over the paneling but that's not what I'm seeing?

I think any of the neutral bright whites would look fine. I used Simply white on mine (both walls/trim and crown, and it's a shade or two lighter than your Alabaster.

I have alabaster on one wall, most of my others are different colors, but I did my trim and doors in alabaster high gloss and it is gorgeous! I highly recommend that!

In my last house, I did Alabaster walls and trim, the sheen was different, looked great. In the new house we just built I used Alabaster again on the walls and ceilings, but I used SWHighly Reflective White on the trim. I love it
