The swap in progress would have been hilarious...like some of us newbies looking really dumb, shuffling around, 3 or 4, or 8 plants behind the rest of you. And who was that sweet lady who graciously unbraided the kniphofia so that we could each have one? Who is this lady and who donated this exhibit A from a high profile Durham murder trial? How about a shot of the good hearted amongst us adopting the orphans at the end! Adele even took my ghetto bags of rudbeckia and jenny. Now, I challenge some of you to depict "the shot that Tammy's hubby didn't get, but should have." Real moments or grossly exaggerated and fictional ones invited...let us be the judge what category they fit into. We, too, will be bringing lots of freebies. You folks started our garden 2 years ago and we are both so grateful. I like putting out freebies & then wandering to see what anyone else might have put out. We'll have: lilacs (some waist high, some bigger, some smaller) burnet some herbs oenothera rose campion columbine maybe foxgloves I'm not sure what else-lots of stuff growing here! I also will bring some seeds, if we're doing that-are we? Laura

Fall MTPS Date Bama week! Oct. 21st. If I can make the ultimate sacrifice then so can everybody else. Hohenwald has their October Fest the weekend of the 14th, UT's only open date in October, and Jan says that the place shuts down and the streets are full of yard sales or something. Anyway, "The Third Saturday In October" will be our fall swap date. Do you know how much this hurts me? I'd rather take a written beating over the spring swap every day from now til then than miss getting to see UT beating Bama!!! Oh well, I'm a dedicated Swap Nazi I reckon.
