SOS Help with a better Master Bath Layout
Comments (1)If it's possible to do so, you could get rid of the sink that is to the right of the doorway (on the curve), move the doorway to the right and make the shower area larger by expanding it to the area where the doorway is now......OR.......move the doorway to the right still, make a shower where the garden tub is now, and put a 2nd vanity in the old shower space expanding it to the area where the doorway is now. If you're moving in a year, you might want to keep the garden tub because then you won't be excluding any buyers and you'll still be getting a larger shower. Whichever gives you the most bang for your buck....See MoreWhich rug looks better in master bath?
Comments (52)I saw your house pics yesterday on the house building forum! I had actually saved your bathroom pic (the other view you have of the larger view...you should post it over here!!) to use for inspiration for our upcoming home build. I LOVE your bathroom. You do have similar colors to our bathroom now, which I love enough to repeat in our future bathroom. Our paint color is a bit lighter (Benjamin Moore Quiet Moments cut to 75%) but the feel is the same. We have white fluffy bath mats and I wouldn't have it any other way. Having seen your bathroom from the angle where you can see the front view of your tub with that great window and the other vanity on the other side...I wouldn't want anything to distract from it....See MoreNeed help re-configuring master bath
Comments (10)How wide is the vanity? It seems like a lot of space that you could do make up there? Do you need two sinks? We have them but I find most of the time we aren't using sinks at the same time but rather him using sink while I'm doing the make up/hair dryer thing. With 2 sinks my cords are in and through the sink whereas if we had one I'd have that full on counter space. If you moved to one sink you'd have plenty of room for make up and precious counter space that is may be enough? Just a thought. If you don't need the separate make up space depending on that vanity width you could still stick with the 2 sinks and move your linen over where the make up is and enter the closet from the bath. Shower up and get dressed without going back in through the master. Just throwing it out there as a possibility....See MoreNow which mirrors look best with new giallo ornamental in master bath
