I've only heard of groups of jellies called blooms or swarms.

Rhizo, same here...bloom or swarm. Maybe different parts of the country? In the Gulf area where we always go that’s the term generally used.

A group of jellyfish is sometimes called a bloom or a swarm. "Bloom" is usually used for a large group of jellyfish that gather in a small area, but may also have a time component, referring to seasonal increases, or numbers beyond what was expected. Another collective name for a group of jellyfish is a smack, although this term is not commonly used by scientists who study jellyfish. Jellyfish are "bloomy" by nature of their life cycles, being produced by their benthic polypsusually in the spring when sunshine and plankton increase, so they appear rather suddenly and often in large numbers, even when an ecosystem is in balance. Using "swarm" usually implies some kind of active ability to stay together, which a few species such as Aurelia, the moon jelly, demonstrate.

A group of jellyfish can be called a swarm. If it is a sudden increase in their population, it can be called a bloom. The latter might be caused by a nutrient upwelling, causing a plankton bloom, and then jellyfish multiplying rapidly because there’s a lot of plankton to eat.

Some sources say a group of jellyfish is called a smack, but a lot of these animal group names are just silly inventions that no one (especially the experts on those animal groups) ever really uses—such as a flutter of butterflies, a slaughter of iguanas, or a bloat of hippopotamuses. I have seen swarm and bloom for jellyfish (but never smack) in scientific literature, though.

(I didn't know yesterday's answer was supposed to be scientific, that wasn't specified in the question. And for what it's worth, a group of baboons isn't really called a congress, either.)

Animal group names are not scientific :-) If you wanted scientific, then we should be looking at the proper Latin based binomials, of which for jellyfish, there are dozens!! Much like plant common names, animal group names are a vernacular convention, used primarily for literary description, not for any scientific purposes. There can be more than one group name for any species of animal, just like plants can have multiple common names. So if that's the case, then any of the common group names should be an acceptable answer.

My comments above were not meant to be criticizing or snarky in any way, and I apologize if anyone took them that way. From years of reading a couple of trivia newsletters almost daily, I know that different sources often have different answers to the same question. So what is a 'right' or 'wrong' answer here depends on where Jasdip got the question. And that's fine! It's just a game, played for fun! Let's keep it that way!
