Are you quilting this weekend? Sept. 6-7
Comments (21)I had a productive weekend! Finished two quilts, including the binding; one for a gift and one for a new wallhanging outside the front door. Also made a bracelet. I'll post something separate with pictures. Still no where near ready for Retreat. I don't have finished quilts to bring, other than a small wallhanging, and haven't decided what new thing to start working on. Running out of time!!!...See MoreAre you quilting this weekend? Comments (11)I have been busy with odd and ends projects for two weeks and getting so much done, that I've put sewing on hold. I'm toying with giving my g'son a wool quilt I made, because he likes the warm, heavy quilts and uses them. If I decide to, then I need to do some knotting on it to reinforce the layers together before Christmas. I made the one quilt to send to the Children's home and just decided not to put Christmas gifts on the agenda to sew. I would like a Christmas with no extra pressure or rush, and this year is it. LOL. I did get the sewing room walls finished. Good-bye loud paisley wallpaper....See MoreAre you quilting this weekend? March 20-22
Comments (13)Theresa, The blocks are all together and am in the process of sewing the rows together. I only made it 6 blocks X 8 blocks but will probably put a border on it. I haven't been able to work on it for very long at a time as I've had to take a few pain pills to ease discomfort........and then would have to snooze a bit. And, have also been trying to get my hearts together...almost there....sigh. Looks like I posted that Friday was National Quilting Day when it was actually Saturday, the 21st. I guess I started early. I'll get pictures up as soon as I can. Have a good week everyone!...See MoreAre you quilting this weekend? Nov. 20-22
Comments (16)Linda, so sorry to hear about your SIL. I am sure it is very hard on your daughter - glad you will be with her. I am going to FINISH the last 2 months of the 2016 Block Lotto samples if it is the only thing I get done! I have month 10 cut & half way sewn. I need to pick month 11 and get it done. I have a couple smaller gift projects that need to get finished, but may not happen until next week. DS returns today from his work assingment in the UK (since May!) so we are looking forward to seeing him. His inlaws invited us to join them for Thanksgiving, so will be making 2 sides and a pie to take along on Thursday. It will be different not doing the whole thing here, but will be fun to share with the whole family....See Moreloisflan
