Last year we tried to grow cucamelon. It grew well, but we didn't end up liking the taste so this year we tried growing Teasal gourds instead. They're a tropical vegetable so we weren't sure how it would grow farther north. We planted a few seeds and the vines grew well though the fruit yields have not been that good. Fruits are 1"x1.5" in size tapering towards end and has slightly bitter taste.
