Moved in 4 yrs ago and there was a leak that has caused us to have to replace a rib joint & reside our house due to more rotten boards than good ones :( Using Certainteed Monogram vinyl, I know I want dutchlap and we are thinking Pacific Blue with white or stone trim. (Neighbors have yellow and light grey, not that I can't do that..but?) Ditching shutters on left side windows and side of garage.

The windows to the right of front door bump out a bit (6 inches?) thinking of doing grey stone there? Garage also protrudes making it a "feature" (haha).

Any ideas? Stone on front of garage also..a few feet up?

Do clapboard on upper part of garage? Or do stone - leave all siding horizontal and put in a fake "vent"?

Anything will be improvement! We thought we could paint, but, not the case. So this is a one and done for MANY years. I don't want to "overdo" it, but, would like to take the unexpected opportunity to look nice! Thanks for any/all advice!!
