Suggestions for a program on trading leaves by mail
Comments (2)One of the things I have come across is how many leaves per box and the cost of shipping.. one AV vendor I like to deal with charges $7 shipping for unlimited amount of leaves. $7 for up to 10 plantlets and $2 for every 5 additional plantlets. She does not have a site, but I met her on Ebay, where I have purchased many of her leaves and plants and now buy direct from her. Some charge out of site shipping for a few leaves and 1-3 plants. By the time you buy the leaves and plants, you have paid way too much for them. If I ever sell on Ebay.. and I am sure I will with all the babies I am getting.. I will give some of the best prices for shipping. It will keep them coming back and they do not feel they have lost their pants when they get their invoice. Shipping kills a lot of the auctions.. and it does not cost that much to ship large quantities of leaves or small babies. They are light.. sure it takes a little time to package the leaves and plants, but YOU are selling and no sense in gouging the public. I want to move my leaves and plants.. not sit and watch them continue to grow and grow. Tea...See MoreWhat's the best virus protection program?
Comments (4)on my personal windows boxes I run Avast, zone alarm pro firewall, superantispyware and malwarebytes (run scans weekly), spywareblaster at a minimum. avast! antivirus Home Edition you must follow the directions and register it but it is free the 2 pdf files on the left side of the page should be read or printed for full directions on use. SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware free but has option to purchase (well worth the price) if you purchase it does have an automatic feature. SpywareBlaster this one is a must have, no scans to run, just hit the update button once a week then the enable all protection button, and it sits there and keeps bad things off your pc. also free Firewalls good info, there are a few free firewalls including zonealarm, however anytime you download and install things be very very careful and read each step and if it ask if you want to install extra stuff like toolbars be sure you uncheck those you do not need or want that stuff, zonealarm free has started doing that and including the ask toolbar under a different name you Do NOT want it. on all my computers I also install belarc advisor which will give you a full list of everything on your pc, I usually print out a list so I can refer to it should I need to, very very hand tool. and free Belarc And definitely install and run regularly the PSI to check to see if your program is fully updated or if it needs updating. Secunia Personal Software Inspect and of course keep all windows critical updates done as they come out. If you will be using Vista you can use the built in windows firewall it is fairly adequate rather than a separate one. If you do not have these on your current pc I would suggest getting them. the fact that you have recurring infections means your current products are not fully cleaning them out, malwarebytes will help with that. And being safe in your user habits is key, don't visit sites known to carry infections including social networking sites, don't open email attachments from anyone. when you have an infection that you know is there and you are not able to remove come ask for help I can take you to one of the support help forums that specialize in removing hard to remove infections. Do occasional online scans to double check your AV. housecall is good and so is this one FREE Online Virus Scan I also advise the use of firefox as a browser instead of IE....See MoreBest design/landscaping computer program/app?
Comments (4)There is definitely an advantage to CAD as one can create objects, as opposed to just drawing pictures comprised of lines. Sketchup is the free or low cost CAD program, but it has a high enough learning curve to be discouraging to many. Though there are tutorials online. It might be one of those things that if you grasp some of the basics, it will begin to "flow." I don't know; I've never made it that far. Though it is just drawing, I like using MS Paint for plan and visualization, as it is simple ... good for anyone who understands perspective drawing. A simple base plan, since it is mainly lines, can be drawn on it with any computer, using the line and shape tools. The app has a built-in grid and measuring guide that can be toggled on and off. (The default scale is 1"=10', but it doesn't tell you that.) Compared to pencil and paper, it saves a lot of time if needing to erase, or when copying elements. And it is much cleaner. Since it's just drawing, it is not as precise as cad. For visualization, you can open any landscape photograph in Paint and draw over it, and copy and paste elements within it. However, since that process is not just drawing straight lines, it requires a touchscreen and stylus in order to use the program well....See MoreBest program to clean a MacBook Pro?
Comments (8)Malwarebytes and CCleaner are 2 that I use. I don't know if they'll take care of the Search Marquis or not. My iMac has been terribly slow. I use Chrome & Firefox, mainly FF. I had to turn off most of the add on's that were on FF. I also need to update to the most recent version, but I do NOT want to give up MS Word!!!...See Moremyricarchitect
