Comments (41)blubird...she said it was on sale from $11, 500.00! I don't get it....? The Brother was $137 and it's at least 5 years old. It's always been flaky. I'll push through another project with it unless I can find an old one like Lars or Annie suggested. PRM......it's still BEAUTIFUL!!!!!...See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - Th 12/9/21
Comments (22)Floral, for being rare, that is an awful lot of snow on the ground. I've never seen that much snow except above 8,000 feet (2400 meters) elevation. I was eleven when I saw my first snowflake....See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - Th 9/7/23
Comments (26)Lola Bojackie, cherimoya tastes like vanilla custard and is very sweet. I make ice cream with it by adding only cream, and then I freeze it. Frozen, it tastes like vanilla ice cream. It is native to highlands of Peru and Ecuador but grows well in Southern California, but only if three to 20 miles from the ocean. It requires a very mild climate and will not grow well if temperatures are over 80°, and it can be damaged by frost. I frequently find it at the farmer's markets here, but it is never cheap....See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - Th 9/14/23
Comments (20)Carol, he was about 20 metres away. He scared the bejeebers out if me. I didn’t notice him at first because he was lying so still. We’ve been off grid camping for a week now and just last night stayed closer to town. They’ve been rutting all week and making noise like you wouldn’t believe. There was frost over everything this morning!...See MoreOutsidePlaying
