All the mountain homes are built on the edge of cliff! It took me some time to get used to, but that's how it is. As this area has quite a bit of rock, they put the foundation piers onto rock. As to the steep walk down to the river. Hubby and I are quite active now. And at the point we can't go down there we will be just as happy sitting on the porch up at the house and watching the river go by. The master is on the main, as is all of the main living area. The funny thing is that the upstairs bedrooms are also accessible with no steps as well. the little driveway goes up around that side and there is a door right into the upstairs bedroom area from there. The real estate agent told me it was so guests could get luggage in and out and not have to bring it up/down the stairs and through the kitchen/living/screened porch as that is how you come through from the front porch.

SketchUp is probably the best but not super easy to learn.

This is the hose image and i want to see how it looks like if the replaced siding would be either dark charcoal with windows frames and all trims white, or white siding with another dark combination. Any suggestions for different combinations, including wood trips or accent to make it look more contemporary?
