Absolutely We'll - Remember
The Eleventh Of - September
What we learned on September 11 is that the unthinkable is now thinkable in the world.
Back then, my youngest brother sat second chair for United. One of his routes was the NYC run that hit the tower. Soooo blessed it wasn't his day to fly that September 11th.

I did not have any radio or TV on, but learned of this through Ruthie G. here at the Kitchen Table. Just unbelievable at the time.
This was displayed at the Waterford factory during our tour a couple of weeks ago. It was really large and impressive.
Such moving pictures today. I wish our country was as united as we became after this attack. I hope we can bring back that feeling and remember that we are all Americans (most of us) and should respect one another and work for the greater good. With love and appreciation for those who lost their lives and those who tried to save lives.
Thank you Murraysmom....amen.
arcy, thank goodness for your brother's safety(was he the Make A Wish boy?), but sad if the others in the photo suffered a different fate. :(
Schoolhouse--everyone in that picture is fine--it was taken just two years ago.
What is murraysmom asking about? Mine is a real flower arrangement I received.
I removed the post, I'm sorry that it was misunderstood. I did not get the picture from Wikipedia, I have been to that city.
I removed my comment in light of the picture being removed.
I thought of them frequently today. Don't remember where I was when I heard the news though. A lump in my throat and tears in my eyes didn't go away for a long long time. I still can't reconcile it.
Oh, for some reason I just assumed the photo was from that time. Duh. Sorry! I'm so glad your brother is here today.
