I'm taking you off Tokyo and putting you on New York City....
I know this is an oldie, but any time I am a bit down, I look at this photo and smile:
Truth be told, I am retired but I still can feel this. Sending to my workbuddies.
Graywings- no photo attached? (Sorry you are a bit down)
I can see it! I swear that dog is smiling....so sweet!
Well I guess I can't edit my comment but now I see it and the good boy is adorable. Just keep looking at that smile Graywings!
Looks like a Golden and Goldies are known to have a distinct "smile" :-)
Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He’s not breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls 911.
“I think my friend is dead!” he yells. “What can I do?”
The operator says, “Calm down. First, let’s make sure he’s dead.”
There’s a silence, then a shot. Back on the phone, the guy says, “OK, now what?”
Read this passage in a New Yorker article the other day (referring to brain scans of people who speak more than dozen languages):
“As for my own brain, I reckoned that the scan would detect a lumpen mass of Mac and cheese embedded with low-wattage Christmas lights.”
Graywings, I loooove that pic! Hope it's ok that I'm keeping it for future reference. :) When I don't work often, I deal with the sadness of losing my sister too soon so it's good to look at this.
I LOOK AT PEOPLE AND SOMETIMES THINK "REALLY”? -- THAT'S THE SPERMTHAT WON?
I love this one.
Truth be told, I am retired but I still can feel this.
me too. I've often wondered what my problem is nowadays with Monday. but when Monday shows up I'm so out of it and not ready for it. whatever 'it ' is. I try to never schedule anything for a Monday. or before noon.
Hey, guys, get out of your Monday's blues rut, O.K?
Sometimes I ask folks if they know what's great about retirement, and when they say that they don't ...
... I put on a big smile, make a small jump in the air and say, either, "Every day's weekend!", or "Every day's vacation!"
