Should mirror touch back splash? Design help needed
Comments (24)>the mirror will need to not touch the ledge below it. over time, say 5 years or so, water and cleaning agents will seep up behind the mirror and create a black line at the bottom of the mirror. You need enough space to no allow water to wick up behind the mirror. Kind of puzzled by this. I can see that this would be a big issue for mirrors that come to the countertop, but I have 30 year old mirrors that are actually supported by the backsplash, and they're just now starting to go at the corners, which I don't think has much at all to do with that....See Morewhich design? need to decide asap, please help! picture included
Comments (19)Hello everyone, I apologize for a delay in my response. Here is what happened, after getting very mixed votes, I kept going back and forth and back and forth and ended up going with the ones on the right :) I think some of you may have liked the ones on the left because of how they look in the picture but the ones on the right look really nice in life too. After leaving a sample for the tile guy to work with, I rushed to the store to get the other ones and of course got held up by other chores. Just got back and rushed to the PC to see the rest of the feedback I got :)) Thank you so much for your advice!! Here is how it looks so far:...See MorePlease pick one!!! I need to decide ASAP!
Comments (42)I would get the red...if you plan to have red in other areas of the kitchen. If you're going to have red in the curtain fabric, maybe red in plates (which I like that look) on the other side of the range. Maybe red around the banquette...then it's not the first thing you'd see in the space. Right now, it's your only color, but that will only remain true, if all your accessories are white, walnut, gray and black. Go for the red...do what YOU love and make it your kitchen. Don't play it safe. It's $250 and if the french gray does have some blue/green in it...then the red will look even better! :)...See MoreNeed help on what back splash to choose.
