Black or dark blue would fit perfectly. Maybe even paint those 2 parts below side windows on the left and right to make it even. White color would be good as well. Actually, I like the classic burgundy too, especially if you are going to tie that in with your plantings. Your house is just beautiful, beautiful. What it could teach those ugly, fugly mcmansions we see so much here!! With the classic burgundy door you could add in some perennials and annuals with some red and or pink, interpersed in and around and in front of those rounded bushes. That would give you some more variety and interest. Maybe even a tree with some red foliage. A Japanese maple? There are some dwarf types if you don't want a tall one and that would give you some dappled light and a bit of privacy in your public rooms in the front of the house. We have some very talented landscape artists on Houzz, why not ask for some suggestions? Of course, you didn't ask me either, but hey, that is what you get on Houzz, unsolicited advice, isn't it? But it is all done with the best of intentions!

Thank you.... im so thrilled to see these comments...hehe...its exactly what I was thinking too. The railings we installed 2 years ago are a custom dark brown colour. I just thought yellow ( upstsirs brick) and black would look like a massive Queen Bee. hahaha
