Help!!! Bluebirds plastering my cars!!
Comments (9)I agree with the previous post that I would not mind blue birds pooping on my truck or car at all. Just wash your car more often and enjoy the fact that a nearly extinct beautiful bird is pooping on your car. Most of us on this forum would love to have your problem. This forum is for those of us who love these little blue baby's survive by going to great lengths to protect them. They were nearly extinct because they have so many predators to compete with in the wild and the fact that we humans encroach on the wild animals habitat by taking away more and more land of the land they live in for our ever expanding out of control population and greed. Are you sure they are blue birds and not swallows because they can look alike to the untrained birder eye. However both blue birds and swallows are welcome to poop all over my truck, because the swallow eats a ton of mosquitoes and are also beautiful birds to have around. You can tell if they are swallows by watching them in flight, if you cannot see the color difference in the two birds, swallows have bluish purple shiny wings. The best way to know if it is a swallow is to look at them in flight , there wings look like a boomerang and they will fly around in the same area if there is a good bug hatch on to feed. The blue bird male is very very blue and they tend to dart from place to place feeding on bugs in the air and often on the ground. If your interested in keeping your car clean from a bird that is so loved and protected by so many people all over the country than I would say you have come to the wrong forum. My answer is, as a blue bird lover is enjoy these nearly endangered, friendly, beautiful bird with a song that is so sweet and long to be heard by us here on this forum every year. Put up some blue bird houses if you can on your land and enjoy them instead of trying to keep them from pooping on your cars. We can wash the poop of of the very thing that is nearly making the blue bird and many other species in the wild extinct. Enjoy nature and its creatures and beauty now because it may not be there for long. Im sorry to make this post so long and I may come across as a tree hugging democrat. Not true at all, I have been hunting and fishing all my life own guns legally, and love to be out in the woods away from people with my dogs running off leash where they are the happiest. But over the years these wooded areas got smaller and smaller because us humans have exploded in numbers. We build houses in the woods but call 911 when they see a bear or a coyote in the back yard and immediately want them killed because they want to live in the country but do not want there kids getting attacked by a wild animal that has most likely made the land that was taken away from them by a human there hunting feeding grounds for years and years. And of course the wild animal always loses in the long run. OMG I just got myself all worked up on this subject. I apologize, but I guess you may get the drift that I am for protecting the birds that pooping on your car rather than chasing them away. UH, yah I went a little to far but just wash your cars and enjoy nature while we have it to enjoy. Gina...See MoreApartment workers got paint on my car!
Comments (3)Heather, DO NOT talk to your auto insurance company about this for advice on "how to remove paint damage" from your car. That is WRONG. (How would they know how to remove paint anyway???) Never call your insurance company unless the damage is huge enough to have to put in a claim. The reason is that an insurance company will ding you, and count incidents even if you are not filing a claim for it. So if you call them and say something happened to your car, but you are not filing a claim, they will count it against you and your rate may go up. That is the way they operate. It sounds like your paint damage is small and the Claybar suggestion is a good one. I would still mention it to the LL so he is aware of how careless the workers were. I doubt if you need him to give you the workers name so you can pursue this in small claims court but it would not hurt to keep a record of the event. You never know, he may hire them again and they are even more careless next time....See MoreWhy has my cat, who has health issues, started pooping on the flo
Comments (6)I went back to mixing Fresh Step, the old litter, with Tidy cat. ItÂs only been 3 days. I will have to check with my husband to see if he has picked up any "deposits" lately. I have not found any. She does not seem to be constipated. I bought some new hairball medicine, which is an oil I have been mixing with her wet food. Unlike all the others I have tried so far, she likes this one. I have been wondering if the oil will make her stool softer too. I started using that maybe 2 weeks ago. The hairballs have now stopped. The floor pooping predates the hairballs (which show up every year in the spring); but IÂm wondering if having hairballs could have caused the uptick in incidence I noticed. The newspaper mostly makes it easier to clean the box. When I dump it, it all slides easily into the garbage. But I have noticed (maybe this is me speculating) that she does not like the feeling of the plastic under the litter on her toes. When I have run out of paper she has objected (donÂt ask me how I know, she just comes to me with this lookÂ). I usually put a heavy sprinkle of baking soda under the paper. I find the paper, which goes up the sides too, wicks the moisture away from just the one spot and makes it dry faster. She does not cover what she does in the box and never has. Just does it and leaves. If IÂm nearby and smell it, I do it!...See Morepooping Dachshund.
Comments (7)I figured it was the excitement, and he was given free reign , but since my other dog has been going there over two years and never did anything, I was so shocked he did this. He was taken out once, but his routine was messed up. Nina.I feed both dogs the exact same thing as well as the greyhound before them. It's Purina ONE w/ chicken & rice. or Pro plan. Both dogs get 1/2 cup dry in the morning and 1/2 cup dry w/ a little Purina One wet salmon mixed in at night. They get the same amount and food yet Ziggy s poop is small and compact while Wally's is three times bigger. (Excuse the delicate subject matter)..I always thought for such a little short dog, his poop was large, but never diarrhea in the six months I've had him....See Morejemdandy
