Comments (2)I love Pearls premium grass. It doesn't grow very tall or fast so doesn't need mowed much. I would rake up the leaves and old fruit. Do a dormant oil spray also....See More'Looks Like We'll Be Getting that JD After All
Comments (40)You know for the life of me i cant remember what that was about - oh wait now i remember there was a poster who came into some $$. Family member dies and he wants to spend it fast on a tractor. I think he had a Cub 2180 or he just crashed it (maybe another poster?) and he thought the X300 was a huge jump up. So my comments were based on who is next to go (death wise) so he can get more $$ to spend on a X series like the 700's... But leave it to LB to leave it in a world of confusion - he could have attached the original link so it made some sense. I think I will put my tin foil hat on my head and see if he is out there trying to contact me - :) Duc...See MoreGuess what we just found at the dump!!??
Comments (15)Alana, Sounds like the temps I would be hoping for, do you wrap them individually in newspaper? Tally, When you ignore them will you just water them once when initially planted or will you water them on a regular basis even if it takes several months for them to come back to life? Or, will you just let natural rain be their water? I never know what to do when I get any new bulb, I just pot them up, water them, let them dry out for a week or so and them give a little water every week or so until they start growing! Most of the time it works, but now and then I'll get some rot started on one! Of course, when working with older bulbs, I usually unpot them late fall, store them in a60 degree room for anywhere from 2 to 4 months, they usually let me know when they are ready. I'm probably over thinking this scenario and making a problem where there isn't one?? What are the rest of you going to do?? Donna...See MoreLook What We Found This Morning
Comments (10)Kate Thanks for the info on the bananas. I also have two plantains, French Horn and Hua Moa. All the bananas were planted at the same time, the strongest is the Nam Wa but is not fruiting yet. I have not seen any rats in the area but we do have a lot of squirrels. I will keep on eye on them. Sharon I am feeding the bananas with a granular fertilizer Dynamite 13-13-13 from Florikan. Cindee I had Raja Puri in Phoenix, when we first had the fruit I remember them being very tasty maybe a little bit tart like you said, a tad starchy too. We loved them. Mistiaggie There is nothing like having fresh bananas from your trees. I cannot wait to sample mine. I can think of so many ways to use them....See MoreGina S
